Mis-en-scene Blog post

 My group in the mis-en-scene project worked to fully represent our character using all types of representation from visual to audio. Our goals were to add props and objects, have the viewer be able to fully visualize the setting, and also have the viewer understand our character completely using auditory elements. Our character is a middle-aged single father librarian who helps kids learn and read.

Our group created many things to represent our character. Our character's name was Sam Sampson, and we represented him by including audios of him speaking about himself and him giving a tour of the library he worked at. We created images with Ai to give a visual representation of what Sam Sampson looked like. We created a small library in Roblox to visualize where our character works and added a small library with a book. We organized our character elements by starting with a description of our character using audio and then included the mood board on the next tab (we organized everything in tabs using chrome). Then after that it was a full tour of the library with a voice describing how much he enjoys being a librarian. Finally, we included a story time with Sam Sampson reading the book to the kids (viewer).

We developed our character using auditory elements and visual elements such as props. Some props that we used include a book, candy, and blankets/carpet. We located our character to work at a big and nice library. We developed the character using these types of elements by putting it all together with the auditory element of the project and it all eventually came together into one piece. We are proud of our project and how we represented our character and overall, we think we did very good in our project.
